Dharan –the home of god.

Life moves so fast, and we’re so distracted, that sometimes we just need time for refreshment of mind. Dharan   area is so famous area to interact friendly With nature. This area is apart at on the foothills of the Mahabharat Range in the north with its southern tip touching the edge of the Terai region .It is at the altitude of 1148 ft.

Why Dharan?

Dharan is mainly famous for Pindeshowri temple Budasubba temple, Dantakali temple and shiva jatta temple. These temples have historical importance cause  these temple was believed to have been constructed first in the 4th century. The large numbers of devotees from different places come here to pray for departed their soul in heaven, which is mythological believed. Buda subba is famous for bamboos that don’t have a shoots where pindeshwori  is famous  to pay homage to Lord Shiva with holy water from Koshi River and mostly dantakali  is known  for the place where sacred teeth of sati devi lies. Beauty of nature ,fresh air and unforgettable scenery and proper hospitality of dharan attracts tourist. Batashe danda is for sound air which is located at
High altitude. The beauty of dharan could easily seen from that location.

Transportation medium

By the medium of bus or micro-van from Kakarbhitta or Biratnagar. Bus fare is 130-160 Rs, from Kakarvitta to Dharan and it is only 80 Rs. from Biratnagar to Dharan. From  Itahari, Dharan is  fairly 30 minutes bus journey and Itahari is  connected to all the other cities of Nepal. So anybody can visit  Itahari and then take a micro van or bus to Dharan.  From Kakarvitta and Biratnagar ,There were direct long distance bus routes from Kathmandu and Pokhara (fare is around 600 Rs.) for both the cities.

Bedhetar which is located at the height of 1420m and 5km far from dharan, Excellent home stay,resort,view tower and park hypnotize us. Another best place of Bedhetar is Namaste jharna (Namaste water fall). Cascades series (small drop of   water flow continuous way) of water fall touches the core of heart and Everyone’s heart start dancing in a flow of water. We are grateful for every precious moment  of  life which offer us.
