Samsung's rotating TV
In this age of Smartphones,
Samsung has made things easy for us by introducing The Sero, Samsung's first
rotating 4k TV. Once synced with your phone this TV can be switched to vertical
mode so you can stream your mobile’s content to your TV without the black
edges. It’s being labeled as the TV for Generation Z, or anyone who spends as
much time watching videos on Instagram, TikTok and other social media sites as
they do watching streaming services or traditional cable. In its vertical
orientation, the Sero basically looks like an over sized smartphone mounted to a
plastic easel. That’s because the screen doesn’t reach to the bottom of the
base, leaving just a few inches of the base uncovered.
Hyundai’s flying cars for
Uber’s air taxi service.
Uber and Hyundai have
announced a new partnership to develop taxi. At this year CES the two companies
unveiled a full scale aircraft concept. The model shown was named Model S-A1, which
essentially looks like a souped-up helicopter. It seems that flying cars are
not only limited science fiction movies. The vehicle even looks something out of
a Sci-Fi movie. The design is amazing. Based
on the specs, Hyundai’s Personal Air Vehicle (PAV) won’t be some Sonata in the
sky. With two tilt-rotors on the tail, and 10 other rotors distributed around
the egg-shaped cabin, the aircraft is designed to take off vertically,
transition to wing-borne lift in cruise, and then transition back to vertical
flight to land. Able to carry 5 people the vehicle has the cruising speed of
180 mph and the cruising altitude of 1000 to 2000 feet above ground. This could
be a boon for the tourism industry as with the help this we can access glorious
landscapes such as Annapurna Base Camp with ease. From the looks of this
prototype flying taxi are gonna be everywhere in the coming future.
