Bode, Bhaktapur.

Full of old brick houses and temples, Bode reflects on its ancient newari culture through different festival and celebrations such as Biska Jatra, Nilbharahi Dance and its most famous tongue piercing festival.

 Muhanpokhari Waterfall, Nagarkot.

On your way to nagarkot hillstation make sure you visit this amazing slice of nature that is Muhanpokhari waterfall. Truly an amazing site this waterfall is a breath of fresh air to the hikers travelling towards nagarkot hillstation. Being close to the city the waterfall is untouched by pollution.

Ghyampe Danda

An hour hike form suryabinayak bus stop you are greeted by an amazing view of bhaktapur district from Ghyampe danda (hill). The view from this spot is truly amazing. So much so that Pilot Baba a great Sage has chosen this place to build his Ashram and the temple of Somnath. Because of the recently built wide and clean gravel road the access to this place has been easy.
